No! Your only a kid for so long. Video games will not hurt you unless you stop doing your homework and your studies. If you can fit your schedule and make room for some video games nothing will happen.
It’s best to limit yourself though to 2 hours a day even though that doesn’t seem like a lot when your playing since your that concerned.

I have had to deal with this as well. The best way to be able to play games and get good grades is to study a certain amount everyday and after you’ve met that quota than the rest of your day can be free time when you can play games. For me, mmorpgs were way too time consuming, but I find that if I take a 20 minute break I can usually fit in a good game of Battlefield 2.

It depends. If you spend too much time playing video games amd end up sacrificing other things in life, or if you let the video game effect you mentaly in a negative way then yes it could be bad. However all things have this capicaty, television, books, sports, whatever. Video games can be good for you, some can help to increase hand eye coordination, some can help you to relive stress. Look for games which challange you in many diffrent levels like prespective, thought process, coordination, also games with good story lines are just a good as reading a book.

I’m currently in high school trying to get into college. The only real way video games can mess you up is if u let ur playing time interfere with ur homework or study time.
