Ninja Gaiden Black (it’s an original Xbox game) is one of the hardest games I’ve played in a long time. If he had a Wii, I would suggest some VC games.

ok if he wants a challange, get him halo 3
halo3 is a very very hard game…
i bet you he wont be able to beat it unless he has hacks and cheats.

You should get him the game Guitar Hero 3. This game is extremly challenging especially on expert. If he is really good at this game it may still take a few months to complete it with 100%.

Tell him to beat halo 3 on legendary mode.
For assassin’s creed, tell him to find all the flags
Call of Duty 4, tell him to beat it on the hardest difficulty
I agree that he should get Guitar Hero 3 and challenge himself to Expert difficulty
