ssx3 snowboarding is awesome, got it for my kids and the music is cool, i snowboard and jam to the music,, could play for hours, wife doesnt understand

the sims unleashed or sims house party(pc), grand theft auto, gran turismo 4,halo, right now I am playing final fantasy VII-dirge of cerberus it is a great game. The most addictive games to me are the ones with action and with many suprises. i also like the game 24, it is based on the tv show.

Any game that is focused on the playing out of a story is extremely addictive- because you never want to stop playing until the story is resolved. (especially if everything else about the game, i.e graphics, music, characters, plot- is awesome). Some that come to mind for me are LOTR, The Third Age, the Silent Hill games, Shadows of Destiny, and Drakenguard.

Crash Bandicoot warped (ps1)
Crash Bandicoot the Wrath of Cortex (ps2)
Crash Team Racing (ps1)
Ape Escape (ps1)
Ape Escape 2 (ps2)
The Sims (ps2) (this is different from the one for the pc)
Grand Theft Auto 3 (ps2)

Final Fantasy XI by far. I played that damn game every day for three years straight. I will never get that time back
I did break the habit though about 3 months ago and couldnt be happier about it.

Well I think games are more addictive when put in series such as the jak and dax and ratchet and clank series. Some of the other people I saw put Grand theft auto and with that I agree. But Grand Theft Auto is a series. Also hard games seem to get people to play them. Kids seem to get engoyment from harder games that they have to work to beat. Hope this helps.
