The Yu-Gi-Oh rulebook stresses that each player must declare each and every move in a loud and clear voice before conducting any move. That way each player knows what is going on and there is no confusion.

Fusion Monster cards are powerful cards that have an etiquette all their own. A deck of Fusion Monster cards is created in the course of a battle by combining two or more monsters. A player can “fuse” two cards together with the use of the “Polymerization” Spell card, thereby created a new, more powerful monster out of the two discarded Monster cards. Each Fusion Monster card details what two normal Monster cards must be used to create that specific Fusion Monster.

Also, different from most cards, Fusion Monster cards are not included in the 40 card minimum of the Deck. People who use Fusion Monster cards must always place the cards face-down on the appropriate space on the game mat.

Players in order to modify and improve their primary Dueling Deck use side Deck cards. The Side Deck must contain exactly 15 cards. Cards from the Side Deck can be exchanged for cards in the Dueling Deck, as long as the number of cards in the Dueling Deck remains the same.

Proper Yugioh etiquette requires that you count out the cards in your Side Deck so that your opponent(s) can see that you are only playing with 15 cards. Side Deck cards must always be counted face-down so as not to reveal their identity. Every time players exchange cards from their primary Dueling Deck with those in their Side Deck, he or she must re-count the cards in their Side Deck to ensure they are only playing with 15.

According to the Yu-Gi-Oh rulebook, opponents must always be honest about the content of their Graveyard. The Graveyard consists of any discarded cards. These cards must always be kept face-up. No cheating!

Has the 3 red light Ring of Death Brought Your Gaming Time to a grinding Halt?

3 times in 2 years the Xbox 360 has given me the 3 flashing red light wink of doom. Once was a little over 2 months after the Console was purchased.

Which was ok because the game store just gave me a straight off replacement because it was still under warranty.

But if the Warranty is up, you have limited and Expensive options.

There is a cost of over $100 to send your console back to Microsoft, plus a cost of two weeks valuable, Game downtime.

From what I have heard, that when the repair was carried out, the Xbox 360 showed its 3 flashing red light’s again after only a couple of weeks.

So how does this Annoying Ring of Death Happen?

The core cause of the console’s Hardware failure lies in the Heat sink design, Primarily in the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

The GPU Heat sink is underneath the DVD drive of the console, and because of this the heat sink is too small for the heat output of the GPU core. Its only 10mm (3/8) High. On the other hand, the CPU is about 50mm (2) High and is liquid cooled.

In the Xbox 360 Elite, Microsoft altered the design of the cooling system so that the Liquid cooling Extend’s beyond the CPU to the GPU. This makes the console dissipate the Heat better and therefore does not overheat to the same extent.

So the effect of the heat generated is the warping of the motherboard, which cracks the lead free solder joints, causing the red ring of death.

After searching online for solutions for this problem, the only free solution was the Towel trick. You might have heard of it. The towel trick has worked for some people, but the Ring of Death Rears its ugly head again shortly afterwards.
