Are you looking into leveling a Paladin? The Paladin has become a pretty popular class ever since the introduction of the latest expansion, this is due mostly to the fact that they were previously unavailable to the Horde.
Paladins are a lot of fun to play and at the same time they are quite a powerful class, some even feel they are overpowered. If you’re looking for a guide that will help you level up your Paladin a bit faster, here are some tips for you to keep in mind:
For the first 5 to 10 levels while leveling a Paladin, all you have to do is just do all the quests that you find in the first town. By doing this you will level up, find new items, find gear as well as pick up much needed gold, or rather copper and silver.
The first 5-6 levels will be spent in the first town, once you’ve done all the quests and ready to move on, all you have to do is complete all the quests in the second town and you will progress at a decent rate.
While all this is happening, remember to equip new gear and to pick up your special abilities from the trainers, if you don’t do this, you won’t level as fast.
Also, be sure you learn the weapon skills that are available to you, this way you dont wind up throwing away a weapon because you dont have the skill to use it.
If you’re leveling up on your own, make sure you go down the Retribution path, this will give you some much needed melee damage. Also while you’re leveling, make sure you have an aura up at all times.
It’s a good idea to fight off enemies with a two handed weapon as they do extra damage. If however you find you get overwhelmed by multiple enemies, switch to using a sword and a shield.
