Cisco training is the way to go for those who need to know all about routers and switches. Routers join up computer networks over the internet or lines dedicated for that purpose. We’d recommend that you should first attempt CCNA. Don’t be tempted to go straight for your CCNP as it’s a considerable step up - and you’ll need the CCNA and experience first to have a go at this.

The sort of jobs available with this kind of skill mean you’ll be more likely to work for national or international corporations that have various different locations but still need contact. On the other hand, you might end up working for an internet service provider. Either way, you’ll be in demand and can expect a high salary.

If you haven’t yet had any experience of routers, then studying up to CCNA is more than enough - at this stage avoid being tempted to do the CCNP. With a few years experience behind you, you can decide if it’s relevant for you to have this next level up.

One thing you must always insist on is proper direct-access 24×7 support via trained professional instructors and mentors. It’s an all too common story to find providers that will only offer a basic 9am till 6pm support period (maybe later on certain days) with very little availability over the weekend.

Don’t buy training courses that only support trainees through a message system after 6-9pm in the evening and during weekends. Colleges will give you every excuse in the book why you don’t need this. The bottom line is - you need support when you need support - not when it’s convenient for them.

Be on the lookout for providers that utilise many support facilities from around the world. Each one should be integrated to offer a simple interface and round-the-clock access, when you need it, with no fuss.

Seek out an educator that is worth purchasing from. Only true live 24×7 round-the-clock support gives you the confidence to make it.

Make sure you don’t get caught-up, as a lot of students can, on the certification itself. Training for training’s sake is generally pointless; this is about gaining commercial employment. You need to remain focused on where you want to go.

It’s a sad fact, but a large percentage of students begin programs that seem amazing in the sales literature, but which gets us a career that doesn’t satisfy. Just ask several college graduates for a real eye-opener.

It’s a good idea to understand what expectations industry may have of you. What precise exams they’ll want you to gain and how you’ll build your experience level. It’s definitely worth spending time thinking about how far you’d like to get as often it can control your selection of accreditations.

Before setting out on a training course, you’d be well advised to chat over individual market requirements with an experienced advisor, to ensure the training course covers all the bases.

The old fashioned style of teaching, using textbooks and whiteboards, is an up-hill struggle for the majority of us. If all this is ringing some familiar bells, find training programs which feature interactive and multimedia modules.

Our ability to remember is increased when we use multiple senses - learning experts have been saying this for decades now.

Find a course where you’re provided with an array of CD and DVD based materials - you’ll start with videos of instructor demonstrations, and be able to practice your skills in interactive lab’s.

You must ensure that you see courseware examples from the company you’re considering. Be sure that they contain full motion videos of instructors demonstrating the topic with lab’s to practice the skills in.

Some companies only have access to training that is purely available online; sometimes you can get away with this - but, imagine the problems if you lose your internet access or you get intermittent problems and speed issues. A safer solution is the provision of physical CD or DVD discs that removes the issue entirely.

Does job security really exist anymore? In a marketplace like the UK, where business constantly changes its mind on a day-to-day basis, it seems increasingly unlikely.

Where there are escalating skills shortfalls mixed with high demand areas of course, we can hit upon a fresh type of security in the marketplace; where, fuelled by the conditions of constant growth, companies find it hard to locate enough staff.

Reviewing the computer industry, a key e-Skills study highlighted a twenty six percent shortfall of skilled workers. Or, to put it differently, this highlights that Great Britain is only able to source 3 trained people for every 4 jobs that are available today.

Well trained and commercially accredited new workers are consequently at a resounding premium, and it’s estimated to remain so for many years to come.

While the market is developing at such a quick pace, is there any other sector worth looking at for retraining.

One of the concerns that has prevented a number of people from pursuing an online education program in the past was that these programs used to provide a poor substitute for learning in a traditional classroom environment. However, a lot of improvements have been made in the technology used to offer online bachelor degree programs and now students can enjoy learning in a setting which works much like a traditional classroom. Truly interactive education is now available online.

The near universality of broadband connections has made things a lot easier. Students can now download large media files without having to wait a long time for reading or viewing, making instructional materials easier to distribute to students.

Various recorded presentations are now part of online courses. These are also much better than used to be the case. Instructors will use a PowerPoint presentation along with recorded narration to explain the material covered. This provides students with an online education experience like that given in a lecture hall.

Many instructors record themselves giving their lectures instead of using PowerPoint presentations. These allow students to see their instructors, letting them match a face to the name. This also lets students see for themselves what their professors place emphasis on when speaking.

Another improvement in technology has enabled students to interact with each other more effectively. Online discussion boards serve as the virtual classroom, wherein you discuss topics with other students, ask each other questions and converse about the course. Live chat rooms add further functionality to an online education.

Live audio and video chats are also available, depending if your computer meets the necessary system requirements. This makes collaborating on projects with other students a snap - you can also communicate with other students via Skype and other VOIP services.

You can also use the methods that your professors use. Your instructors will often use a recorded lecture or PowerPoint presentation with voiceover narration; and you can do the same with your homework! Instead of simply turning in a report in plain text, you can create your own multimedia reports - now that’s sure to fetch a good grade!

Online bachelors degree courses now also feature tests. There have been a lot of advances which have allowed for the creation of online tests which can be administered accurately over the web. These tests are timed and contain multiple choice questions, essay questions and more. Just like a traditional class, you’ll need to demonstrate your understanding of the course material - technology may have changed a lot of things, but passing your tests is still up to you!

Online education has come a long way and you can now learn from online courses in a way which is comparable to a traditional classroom setting. There are lectures, student interaction and collaboration and even online tests which work just as in a traditional university. There’s no reason not to choose an online education anymore. It’s convenient and you can earn the degree you need even if your schedule doesn’t permit you to take classes in the traditional manner.

The video game industry has exploded into a multi-billion dollar industry in a very short amount of time. Until now, the industry is showing no signs of slowing down, and the demand for video games is continually increasing. In fact, this demand has become so huge that video game producers are having a difficult time keeping up and hiring enough employees to meet the demand. Video game companies are always looking for new video game testers who will review their games before they are released out in the market.

There are three different types of video game testing jobs ? the corporate video game tester, the freelancer video game tester, and the self-employed video game tester. But no matter what type of video game tester job you have, you may still end up into once very simple category ? Video Game Tester at Home.

The corporate video game tester is someone who works for companies such as EA, Activision Blizzard, Nintendo, Sony, and the like. Working for such companies would mean that you have to work full time, and is a great way to build connections for future gaming careers or get into a great gaming environment.

The freelancer video game tester, on the other hand, is someone who works on projects or single assignments rather than working on a salary. As a freelancer, you would have to work only when you are needed or on particular assignments only instead of having a full-time day job.

Finally, the self-employed video game tester is someone who makes a blog or a website, and who starts reviewing games and sends samples to different video game companies. It is difficult to actually pull in money if you are self-employed because it isn?t guaranteed. You have to work doubly hard to actively campaign for the job, and you have to be extra patient in waiting for companies to send you free new releases to review.

It wasn’t that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Bullet in the Head: Extreme, highly charged tale of 3 buddies who leave Hong Kong to go to war torn 1967 Vietnam and are drawn into a whirlwind of tough situations that tests their friendship. A film spiritual and over wrought with action footage and altercations that are as daring as anything that Woo has tried onscreen. Cast includes Tony Leung, Jacky Cheung, Waise Lee, Simon Yam, Fennie Yeon, and Yolinda Yan. (136 minutes, 1990)

Straight Time: Hoffman knocks heads with greasy parole officer Walsh following his discharge from penitentiary and starts a downward skid. An immersing if not specifically differentiated melodrama that gets a genuine shot in the arm from tremendous acting by the supporting cast. Cast includes Dustin Hoffman, Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Gary Busey, Emmet Walsh, and Rita Taggart. (114 minutes, 1978)

Pulp Fiction: This is Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece work. The story weaves around four separate, yet intertwined events. There was an accidental killing, the crime bosses wife’s overdose, the boxer who didn’t throw the fight, and pair of small time crooks trying to rob a restaurant.

Juno: Juno is a smart young girl facing a huge dilemma. She is pregnant. Wanting the best for the child she strives to find a fitting set of parents for her baby. With the support of loving parents, Juno tries to deal with coming of age before her time.

The Kingdom: This four hour film is essentially 4 Danish Television shows strung together, set and shot at the genuine Nationwide State Health center in Copenhagen. It is known as “The Empire”. As essentially every critic has pointed out, this is ER meets Twin Peaks, with crackpot physicians, supernatural goings-on, sex, black humor, etc. A must for those who imagine they’ve seen everything. Cast includes Ernst Hugo Jaregard, Kirsten Rolffes, Ghita Norby, Soren Pilmark, Jens Okking, Otto Brandenburg, Baard Owe, and Solbjorg Hojfeldt. (271 minutes, 1994)

So I Married an Axe Murderer: A man who’s never been able to commit to marriage ultimately meets Miss Right, and then finds out that she’s a infamous axe murderess! Myers is ingratiating and hilarious in a second role as his own contrary Scottish dad however the film by no means switches into high gear. Cameos by such recognizable funny men as Charles Grodin, Steven Wright, Phil Hartman, and Michael Richards appear mainly unnecessary. Cast includes Mike Myers, Nancy Travis, Anthony LaPaglia, Amanda Plummer, Brenda Fricker, Debi Mazar, and Matt Doherty. (93 minutes, 1993)

Down with Love: Spoof of the 1960s Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedies has Zellweger as the writer of a most popular novel on female rights in a battle of the genders with playboy/publication author McGregor. Cast includes Renee Zellweger, Ewan McGregor, David Hyde’ Perforate, Sarah Paulson, Tony Randall, Lei Ryan, and Rachel Dratch. (94 minutes, 2003)

Blind Date: Tiresome retread of all-too familiar farcical material by Blake Edwards. Yuppie Willis takes Basinger out on a pre arranged blind date, urged that she shouldn’t have alcohol and instantly gives her champagne. This film is hilarious. This was Willis’ featuring debut; guitarist Stanley Jordan makes a lyrical appearance. Cast includes Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis, John Larroquette, William Daniels, and Graham Stark. (93 minutes, 1987)

Bug: Earthquake discharges a sickening assortment of beetle from the world, adept at setting individuals, animals, and objects on fire. Spray your set with bug spray after observing this one. Generated and co-written by William Castle, whose last film this was. Cast includes Bradford Dillman, Joanna Miles, Richard Gilliland, Jamie Smith Jackson, Alan Fudge, Patty McCormack, and Jesse Vint. (100 minutes, 1975)

Okay, if you’re looking for downloads, try phrases like “Rent Films Online”. If the first search proves ineffective type in something different. Try “Movie Rental Service” next.

Rent-a-Kid: While the head of an orphanage takes a holiday, dad Nielsen takes over with a plan to raise money by renting out kids. While unsurprising, this stupid premise is surprisingly effective. (89 minutes, 1995)
