A LOTRO leveling guide can turn anyone from a beginner in the game to a veteran within weeks. Anyone can use a LOTRO leveling guide to level up their favorite characters easy and fast. It took me several weeks of some gruesome grinding to make me realize that there had to be a better option out there. Once I found these LOTRO guides, everything changed.

I’ve been watching Lord of the Rings Online since they first announced it. I didn’t get to start playing right on the release date or any of the Beta versions. I was only able to join the game after about an year. I figured that won’t be a problem since people level characters all the time and I will not be alone. So once I found the time to get the game and start playing, I did.

So I began playing, the tutorial of the game helped me get used to the interface and also to the combat and movement system. That was also the beginning of the part I would play in the game. For the next few days, I wondered around the starter zone, completing quests and just admiring the marvellous landscapes. But once I finished that, it began getting harder and harder. There were a lot of quests to do and I didn’t know where to even start. Another troublesome thing was that whenever I would discover a new camp or city, there would be more quests to get.

I kept going none the less hoping that things will get better. As I was trying to level up, I kept feeling like what I was doing was wrong. I was leaving a lot of stuff undone. Asking people for help didn’t really work because after a few questions, they start ignoring you. One day someone told me about a LOTRO leveling guide, he said that it would help me a lot. So I started looking for such a leveling guide to see what it was all about.

Surprisingly, there weren’t many LOTRO guides out there. I got the LOTRO leveling guide that seemed the most promising and started using it. As I started checking it out, I came to realize that the guide was exactly what I needed. It was made in a step-by-step manner with each step marked on the map within the guide, which made it really easy to get around. What was also very good about it was that the quests were arranged in an optimized path, which means that when I go to one direction, I will complete all the quests that are there and then move to another location and do the same.

A couple of weeks later I was at the level cap and feeling pretty good about myself. If it weren’t for the LOTRO leveling guide, I don’t think I would’ve ever done that. I am sure that I could’ve never finish the Angmar zone without loosing my hair. My advice to everyone is that if you want to level up easy and fast, you should look for a LOTRO leveling guide.

The figures explaining how much Plumbers can earn is often talked about in the papers. The lack of Plumbers in the UK has led to salaries of 30-70k p.a. being exhibited. Is this really a fib - or is this in fact accurate? For the competent and correctly skilled person, this level of salary is realistic. In fact, earnings in excess of 70 - 100k p.a. are achievable - but that is solely for those who work within the self-employed market-place, rather than those who work within established employment routes.

It is fairly usual to expect working hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with a reputable employer. Salaries of between 15k - 30k p.a. are easily achievable and will include typical benefits such as holiday pay and sickness allowance - what you’d generally expect from any UK employed status. However, if the self employed person is willing to work longer than the normal working hours then more money can be earned. This is especially the case where self-employed plumbers have opted to work in the domestic market, where their clients are at work during the day - requiring evening and weekend visits.

Around which is the question of self employment which appears to fit some people. The inclusion of key elements such as utilising good ‘business sense’, covering areas such as advertising and marketing and getting your own cost-per-hour correct is integral to the picture. Furthermore, additional costs such as materials and transport, along with legal and accountancy fees will need to be paid. Although it is expected that these can be relatively small in relation to the earnings overall they can mount up, but then so can the benefits. And the positives virtually always beat the downsides!

Initially, by searching for standard work a Student Entrant can get the majority of training especially with working knowledge and experience. Alternatively, the Self Employed Entrant needs to quickly establish those certificates that they will rely on in industry. In fairness it is the ‘domestic’ market rather than the commercial sector that attracts the majority of the self-employed workers in the UK. (Whilst not everyone does the majority do!)

Considering the education in Plumbing, each path into the industry needs some match in the certification modules. The issue of NVQ’s (or SVQ’s in Scotland) nevertheless appears to cause some difference.

Without a doubt, it is the greater dependence on the NVQ element that separates the Student Entrant from the Self Employed Entrant. The Self Employed Entrant will regularly employ a range of certifications in order to meet the needs of their client’s requirements from the beginning. Without a doubt the self employed person needs to quickly gain the core domestic- centred qualifications to satisfy their typical household-based clients. Once they have covered the core parts the Student Entrant will often carry on their study not dissimilar to an apprenticeship in the workplace (where the NVQ element can be appraised.) Considerable savings potential exists to the Student Entrant by taking on this cheaper form of study. That said it is the ability to gain real financial rewards long before the Student Entrant that encourages many Self-Employed Entrants to gain certifications faster and be motivated by a stronger commercial attitude.

This clearly demonstrates the need for talk about careers, covering the certification and study required along with the expected financial rewards. It would generate serious hardship, for example, for an adult requiring 20k p.a. (to provide for their family,) to go back to college and spend 3 years in low-paid apprenticeship work. Furthermore, many Student Entrants have their studies paid for them whereas the self-employed students fund the variety of course themselves. For self-employed people these costs are set by the course structure and the level of certification sought and can end up between 3k-10k+.

Self Employed Entrants can consider a wide range of private technical colleges as opposed to the reliance on further-education colleges and that differentiates them from Student Entrants. Plumbing training companies can offer commercial routes in to reputable training paths that cover the necessary qualifications and skill-sets. The ability to train in evenings, part-time or in self study classes allowing people to continue with their existing job and maintaining their current financial situation remains one of the key advantages to Self Employed Entrants. With so many training colleges available, it makes sense to gather information from as many sources as possible. We’ve provided links and adverts from several, so why not book-mark this page (CTRL-D) so you can come back later to review your options.

Many plumbing students will increase their ‘marketability’ through the use of further courses. It is by training in areas such as Gas, Green Energy and Electrical that Plumbers can gain extra certifications. A typically popular route for Plumbers is Gas training, especially as this forms part of the usual commercial and domestic heating system.

It is with its main subjects, alongside added NVQ’s, that result in Gas Training being viewed as a technical program. It also features many options for on-going training, especially for those who trained as a plumber first and are now looking at some extra skills to add to their stable. From this idea the mature student works better with a fusion offered by Gas/Plumbing training. The path of focussing on the core subjects and at the same time dropping the NVQ’s seems to favour the Mature Student.

It is from this particular training program that the self-employed professional gains ground. The opportunity to learn a wider range of perceived skill-sets (whilst earning money from them) becomes the attraction. This alone can add to their industrial viewpoint, as opposed to relying on sub-contracting core elements to third parties. Sub-contracting can not only reduce the earning potential of a job, but also erode the value in the customer’s eye, as they may have to wait for key stages to be handled by someone else before the final completion of the job. The more skilled a plumber is in their job role - the more that they have to offer their client base.

It is by working at their broader range of certifications alongside business skills that Self Employed Entrants can achieve much higher income streams that their Student Entrant counterparts. Note: This information deals with industry requirements and policies for the UK market alone.

If it weren’t for a constant influx of knowledgeable network and PC support personnel, business in the UK (and around the world) would surely grind to a halt. There is an ever growing requirement for people to support both the systems and the users themselves. Because we become massively more dependent on advanced technology, we simultaneously find ourselves increasingly dependent on the skilled and qualified networking professionals, who keep the systems going.

Proper support is incredibly important - look for a package offering 24×7 direct access to instructors, as anything else will annoy you and definitely hold up your pace and restrict your intake.

Locate training schools with help available at any time you choose (even if it’s early hours on Sunday morning!) Make sure it’s always 24×7 direct access to mentors and instructors, and not simply some messaging service that means you’re parked in a queue of others waiting to be called back - probably during office hours.

If you look properly, you’ll find the top providers which provide their students direct-access support 24×7 - even in the middle of the night.

Look for a company that goes the extra mile. Only true round-the-clock 24×7 support provides the necessary backup.

An all too common mistake that we encounter all too often is to focus entirely on getting a qualification, and take their eye off where they want to get to. Colleges are brimming over with unaware students who took a course because it seemed fun - rather than what would get them an enjoyable career or job.

You may train for one year and then end up doing the job for 20 years. Don’t make the error of opting for what may seem to be an ‘interesting’ training program and then spend decades in an unrewarding career!

It’s essential to keep your focus on where you want to get to, and create a learning-plan from that - not the other way round. Stay focused on the end-goal - making sure you’re training for something you’ll still be enjoying many years from now.

We’d recommend you seek advice from a professional advisor before making your final decision on some particular study program, so there’s little doubt that the specific package will give the skill-set required for your career choice.

Let’s face it: There really is pretty much no individual job security anywhere now; there’s only industry or business security - companies can just drop any single member of staff if it suits their business interests.

We can however hit upon security at market-level, by digging for high demand areas, tied with work-skill shortages.

The IT skills-gap in the United Kingdom is standing at approximately twenty six percent, according to the most recent e-Skills survey. That means for each four job positions existing across computing, we have only 3 certified professionals to fulfil that role.

This disquieting fact shows the requirement for more appropriately accredited computing professionals in the United Kingdom.

It’s unlikely if a better time or market state of affairs will exist for obtaining certification in this rapidly growing and blossoming industry.

We’re regularly asked to explain why academic qualifications are less in demand than the more commercial qualifications?

Accreditation-based training (as it’s known in the industry) is far more effective and specialised. The IT sector has realised that specialisation is what’s needed to meet the requirements of an acceleratingly technical commercial environment. Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO and Adobe are the big boys in this field.

Vendor training works by honing in on the skills that are really needed (along with a relevant amount of background knowledge,) as opposed to covering masses of the background non-specific minutiae that academic courses can get bogged down in - to pad out the syllabus.

Just as the old advertisement said: ‘It does what it says on the tin’. Employers simply need to know where they have gaps, and then match up the appropriate exam numbers as a requirement. They’ll know then that all applicants can do what they need.

For those looking to formalise your skill set at the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) study level, the best devices on sale are based on CD and DVD ROM’s using interactive training. So if you have a certain amount of knowledge but are about to formalise your skills with certification, or are just about to get started, you’ll come across interactive MCSA courses to cater for you.

To qualify for an MCSA it’s necessary to achieve pass marks in four MCP’s (Microsoft Certified Professional exams). If this is your first entry into computing exams, it’s likely you’ll be required to have some coaching prior to studying for all four MCP’s. Find a company that has industry experts who can guide you towards the right way to tackle your goal and who will get you started in the right place.

A lot of men and women are under the impression that the tech college or university track is still the most effective. Why then are qualifications from the commercial sector slowly and steadily replacing it?

As we require increasingly more effective technological know-how, the IT sector has moved to specialist courses that the vendors themselves supply - that is companies such as Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO and Adobe. Frequently this is at a far reduced cost both money and time wise.

Many degrees, for instance, often get bogged down in a lot of loosely associated study - and much too wide a syllabus. This prevents a student from learning the core essentials in sufficient depth.

In simple terms: Accredited IT qualifications provide exactly what an employer needs - the title says it all: as an example - I am a ‘Microsoft Certified Professional’ in ‘Planning and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Infrastructure’. Consequently employers can look at the particular needs they have and which qualifications are required to fulfil that.

At the top of your shopping list for a training program should be comprehensive 24×7 direct-access support via trained professional instructors and mentors. So many companies we come across only provide office hours (or extended office hours) support.

Locate training schools where you can receive help at any time you choose (even if it’s early hours on Sunday morning!) You’ll need 24×7 direct access to mentors and instructors, and not access to a call-in service which takes messages - so you’re constantly waiting for a call-back when it’s convenient for them.

Keep looking and you’ll come across the very best companies which recommend and use online direct access support at all times - even in the middle of the night.

Don’t under any circumstances take less than this. Online 24×7 support is the only kind that ever makes the grade with computer-based study. Maybe late-evening study is not your thing; but for the majority of us however, we’re at work while the support is live.

Lately, do you find yourself questioning how safe your job is? For most people, this isn’t an issue until we experience a knock-back. But in today’s marketplace, the reality is that our job security simply doesn’t exist anymore, for nearly everyone now.

We’re able though to reveal market-level security, by digging for high demand areas, coupled with a shortage of skilled staff.

The IT skills shortfall around the United Kingdom falls in at approx 26 percent, as reported by the 2006 e-Skills investigation. Accordingly, out of each 4 positions in existence across IT, organisations can only locate enough qualified individuals for 3 of the 4.

This single reality alone shows why the United Kingdom desperately needs so many more people to enter the IT sector.

Because the IT sector is evolving at such a speed, is there any other area of industry worth taking into account for your new career.

Adding in the cost of exam fees upfront then including an exam guarantee is popular with many companies. However, let’s consider what’s really going on:

They’ve allowed costings for it by some means. It’s definitely not free - they’ve just worked it into the package price.

The fact is that if a student pays for their relevant examinations, one after the other, they will be much more likely to pass every time - since they’ll think of the cost and therefore will put more effort into their preparation.

Do your exams somewhere local and look for the very best offer you can at the time.

Why borrow the money or pay in advance (plus interest of course) on exams when you didn’t need to? A great deal of money is made because training colleges are getting paid upfront for exams - and banking on the fact that many won’t be taken.

Re-takes of any failed exams via organisations who offer an ‘Exam Guarantee’ are always heavily controlled. You’ll be required to sit pre-tests till you’ve proven conclusively that you can pass.

Exam fees averaged approximately 112 pounds in the last 12 months via Prometric or VUE centres around the United Kingdom. So what’s the point of paying maybe a thousand pounds extra to get ‘Exam Guarantees’, when it’s no secret that the most successful method is a commitment to studying and the use of authorised exam preparation tools.

The salaries of Plumbers are often highlighted in the national press. Salaries of 30-70k p.a. are often discussed, along with the lack of plumbers within the UK. So, is this really the position or is this basically untrue? Without a doubt, a fully experienced Plumber can command salaries of such levels. To be fair, the higher earnings of 70-100k p.a. are generally for those working within the self-employed field.

However, working for regular employers often results in the typical hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Furthermore from a UK employer, the usual perks are holiday pay and sickness allowance, as well as salaries of between 15k and 30k p.a. Whilst the ability to earn more than through normal means exists, the self-employed plumber usually has to consider working longer hours. This is more common in the domestic market where self employed plumbers often have to work evenings and weekends to suit those clients that work during the week.

On a personal level remains the issue self-employment, something that does not become everybody. This can include getting to grips with advertising & marketing, getting your own cost-per-hour correct and the need to learn and use good ‘business’ sense. Furthermore, additional costs such as materials and transport, along with legal and accountancy fees will need to be paid. Whilst it is expected that the benefits will be high, the costs can mount up though they should always remain a small part of the income overall. Certainly the downsides are virtually always beaten by the income!

Initially, by searching for standard work a Student Entrant can get the majority of training especially with working knowledge and experience. On the other hand, the Self Employed Entrant needs to increase their list plumbing credentials as soon as possible. In fairness it is the ‘domestic’ market rather than the commercial sector that attracts the majority of the self-employed workers in the UK. (Not all of them, but the main do!)

With reference to education in Plumbing, there is a likeness needed by each part of the industry in relation to the certification elements. The issue of NVQ’s (or SVQ’s in Scotland) nevertheless appears to cause some difference.

At first, the Student Entrant does appear to depend much more on the NVQ structure than the Self Employed Entrant. In order to meet their client’s expectations the Self Employed Entrant will often need to use a greater range of certifications. In order to be able to meet the needs of the typical household, self-employed persons will need to rapidly gain key domestic-centred qualifications. The Student Entrant will often carry on their studies in the workplace under an apprenticeship where the NVQ element can be assessed. Due to the cost effectiveness of this study the Student Entrant can make strong savings from the outset. It is fair to say that long before the Student Entrant the Self Employed Entrant can gain financial benefits through establishing certifications faster and by being more commercially motivated.

This shows the necessity of a clear careers discussion, covering the overall study and certification requirements alongside the required financial return. It is often the issue of 3 years in low-paid apprenticeship work, alongside going back to college that many adults having to look after their family and with say 20kp.a requirements find difficult. It should also be borne in mind that many young Student Entrants have their studies paid for them as part of their overall apprenticeships, whereas the self-employed student generally funds the course themselves. The level of certification sought by the student drives the course structure and can result in costs of between 3k through to 10k+.

The study process is often split with Student Entrants studying at recognised further-education colleges whereas the mature Self Employed Entrants going for a wider range of private run technical schools. Certain plumbing training companies deliver the accepted skill-sets and qualifications providing the basis for education. Of a key opportunity is the ability to train out of hours - evening, part time and self study classes that allows Self Employed Entrants to continue training whilst continuing with their job and maintaining their financial situation. From this it makes sense to gather as much detail as you can especially with so many training options available. We’ve provided links and adverts from several, so why not book-mark this page (CTRL-D) so you can come back later to review your options.

By going on added training programs many plumbing students seek to increase their ‘marketability’. Courses in areas such as Gas, Electrical and Green Energy can provide added certifications. A popular route for Plumbers involves that of the normal domestic and commercial heating system training program of Gas Training.

Gas Training, with subjects followed by a focus on NVQ’s is recognised as an accurate and exact training program. For those who trained as a plumber first and are now looking at extra skills this also offers many options for their on-going development. It is from this position that many believe the mix of Plumbing/Gas Training is more apt to the mature student. For the Mature Student the emphasis appears to be reducing the NVQ elements and focussing on the core subjects.

The self-employed professional appears to benefit from this distinct training mixture. The opportunity to learn a wider range of perceived skill-sets (whilst earning money from them) becomes the attraction. Instead of having to rely upon third parties to complete certain skill-sets, this adds to their commercial viability. Whilst sub-contracting can reduce the earning of a particular job perhaps more important is the deterioration of the value in a customer’s eye as they have to wait for jobs to be handled by others before completion of the overall task. To be fair the more talent a Plumber has in their own job then the more they have to offer their client base.

In retrospect, the Self Employed Entrant has the potential to achieve a much higher and more readily available income stream than Student Entrant, but to do so they need to develop both their business skills and achieve a broader range of certifications. Note: The above information is solely relative to the UK market, industry requirements and policies.

The salaries of Plumbers are often talked about in the national press. The lack of Plumbers in the UK has led to salaries of 30-70k p.a. being exhibited. The question now is - are we being lied to, or is this the truth? For an experienced Plumber, this amount of salary is both realistic and feasible. Salaries of 70-100k p.a. are achievable, but these appear to be the area of the self-employed Plumbers rather than those who take the more familiar working methods.

If you enter the traditional work environment, primarily working for an established employer, then working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm are standard. Approximately wages of 15k and 30k p.a. are reasonable within the UK, along with standard benefits such as holiday pay and sickness allowance. By working ‘out of hours’ - typically longer than 9am to 6pm Mon- Fri the self employed person can often achieve a higher wage. For example in the domestic sector where clients are often at work during the working day, self employed plumbers are regularly required to work during evening and weekend visits.

There is also the issue of self-employment itself - which definitely suits some people more than it suits others. Finally there is good ‘business sense’, such as getting the hourly rate correct, advertising and marketing budgets spot on which are all important. To be fair most self-employed people will have to prepare for additional costs including those relating to legal and accountancy fees as well as those of transport and material usage. Although it is expected that these can be relatively small in relation to the earnings overall they can mount up, but then so can the benefits. Added to that, the positives virtually always outstrip the negatives!

Without a doubt Student Entrants are looking for companies who can offer them regular employment and thereby teach them from experience. As quickly as possible the Self Employed Entrant needs to increase their list of accreditations that they will rely upon. Having said that, we should bear in mind that the majority of self-employed workers tend to migrate towards the narrower ‘domestic’ market, rather than the commercial sector. (Whilst not everyone does the majority do!)

In terms of plumbing education, there appears to be some similarity between the certification modules required by each path into the industry. There does remain considerable question when the factor of NVQ’s (SVQ’s in Scotland) is realised.

From the outset, it is clear that the Self Employed Entrant does not depend as much upon the NVQ’s as the Student Entrant. The Self Employed Entrant will often call upon a wider range of certifications right from the outset; in order to satisfy their perceived client’s requirements. Certainly, it is the qualifications aimed at meeting the needs of the typical household-based client base that self-employed persons need to focus upon. Having covered off the key elements of training within the college, the Student Entrant usually then enters the apprenticeship stage within the workplace - where the NVQ element can be assessed. The Student Entrant can also make financial savings at the start, as it is a cheaper form of study overall. However, in relation to the Student Entrant the Self Employed Entrant will gain certifications faster and therefore achieve substantial financial gains in the long term.

To be sure the financial returns required is the result of clear careers discussions covering certification and the overall study requirements. For adults with demands of say a 20kp.a and a family to look after, the prospect of going back to college and spending a further 3 years in low-paid apprenticeship work can be very daunting. It should also be remembered that many younger Student Entrants are entering an apprenticeship and thereby have their courses paid for them whereas the mature self-employed students do not. Depending on the level of certification sought and the course itself the costs for people can run into 3k to 10k+.

For the most part the private colleges are the domain of the Self Employed Entrant whereas the Student Entrant is required to study at recognised further-education colleges. Often through the use of established training schemes many commercially oriented plumbing courses are now able to deliver the necessary skill-sets and qualifications. The situation whereby Self Employed Entrants can continue with their current job and maintain their financial position remains one of the core advantages of training in evening, part-time or self study classes. Considering so many options on hand it is clever to gather data from as many sources as one can. Having provided an option for you to come back and review the links and adverts from several sites, why not book mark this page (CTRL-D).

Many plumbing students will increase their ‘marketability’ through the use of further courses. Indeed it is through the added training provided that certification in areas such as Gas, Green Energy and Electrical can be gained. One of the most popular routes for Plumbers has always been Gas training, as this forms part of the typical domestic and commercial heating system.

With core subjects followed by NVQ’s, Gas Training is a thorough and exact training program. The opportunity for on-going training is for those who trained first as a plumber and are now seeking to add some extra skills to their repertoire. It could be said, from that viewpoint, that a hybrid of Plumbing/Gas training would be more suited to the mature student. The path of focussing on the core subjects and at the same time dropping the NVQ’s seems to favour the Mature Student.

It is from this mix of training methods that the self-employed professional appears to benefit. To earn money whilst at the same time as gaining a wider range of perceived skills becomes a desirable prospect. This adds to their overall package rather than having to rely on sub-contraction of key skills to third parties. Of concern is the reduction in customer’s value as they have to wait for jobs to be completed by others that in turn can lead to a reduction of the earning potential of a job. In order to offer more value to their relative clients Plumbers need to be more skilled in their job role.

It is by working at their broader range of certifications alongside business skills that Self Employed Entrants can achieve much higher income streams that their Student Entrant counterparts. Note: This information relates to the UK market, policies and industry requirements alone.

If searching for training tracks certified by Microsoft, it stands to reason you’ll want training providers to supply a wide selection of the finest training courses on the market today.

Maybe you’d like to look for a person who’s got industry experience, who might give you help to sort out what sort of job would suit you, and what sort of tasks are correct for a person with your character and ability.

Training programs must be customised to suit your ability level and skills. So, having worked out the most fruitful career for you, your next requirement is the most suitable program that will get you into that job.

Always expect an authorised exam preparation system included in your course.

Students regularly can get thrown by practicing questions for their exams that aren’t recognised by the authorised examining boards. Sometimes, the phraseology is unfamiliar and you need to be ready for this.

Why don’t you verify your knowledge through tests and mock ups of exams to get you ready for the proper exam.

Many trainers provide piles of reference manuals and workbooks. It’s not a very interesting way to learn and not ideal for remembering.

Research has always shown that becoming involved with our studies, to utilise all our senses, will more likely produce memories that are deeper and longer-lasting.

Top of the range study programs now offer interactive CD and DVD ROM’s. Instructor-led tutorials will mean you’ll learn your subject through the expert demonstrations. Then you test your knowledge by utilising the practice lab’s and modules.

Each company you’re contemplating must be able to demonstrate a few samples of the type of training materials they provide. Make sure you encounter videos of instructor-led classes and a variety of interactive modules.

It’s usually bad advice to go for purely on-line training. Because of the variable quality and reliability of your average broadband company, make sure you get disc based courseware (On CD or DVD).

Getting your first commercial position can feel more straightforward with a Job Placement Assistance facility. Ultimately it’s not as difficult as you may be led to believe to secure your first job - once you’re trained and certified; employers in this country need your skills.

You would ideally have advice and support about your CV and interviews though; and we’d recommend any student to bring their CV up to date the day they start training - don’t wait till you’ve finished your exams.

Having the possibility of an interview is far better than not even being known about. A surprising amount of junior positions are offered to students in the early stages of their course.

Generally, a local IT focused recruitment consultancy (who will get paid commission to place you) should get better results than any recruitment division from a training organisation. They should, of course, also know the local industry and employment needs.

Many trainees, apparently, invest a great deal of time on their training course (for years sometimes), and then just stop instead of looking for a job. Sell yourself… Do everything you can to get in front of employers. Don’t think a job’s just going to jump out in front of you.

Wouldn’t it be great to know for sure that our jobs will remain safe and our work prospects are protected, but the growing reality for most sectors in the United Kingdom currently is that security may be a thing of the past.

Where there are escalating skills shortfalls mixed with increasing demand though, we often find a newer brand of security in the marketplace; driven forward by the conditions of constant growth, employers just can’t get the staff required.

A recent national e-Skills study highlighted that more than 26 percent of IT jobs haven’t been filled mainly due to a lack of properly qualified workers. Accordingly, for every four jobs that exist in IT, employers can only locate trained staff for 3 of the 4.

This one idea in itself reveals why the UK is in need of a lot more people to join the industry.

While the market is growing at such a speed, is there any other market worth investigating for your new career.

The CCNA is the usual starting point for all training in Cisco. With it, you’ll learn how to handle maintaining and installing routers and network switches. Basically, the internet comprises of vast numbers of routers, and many large organisations who have various regional departments rely on them to keep their networks in touch.

Achieving this qualification means you’ll probably end up working for large companies who have many locations, but still need contact. Alternatively, you may find yourself employed by an internet service provider. These jobs are well paid and in demand.

The CCNA qualification is more than adequate; don’t be pushed into attempting your CCNP. After gaining experience in the working environment, you can decide whether you need to train up to this level. If you decide to become more qualified, you’ll have the experience you need to tackle the CCNP - because it’s far from a walk in the park - and ought not to be underestimated.

It’s essential to have authorised exam simulation and preparation programs as part of your training package.

Avoid relying on non-official exam papers and questions. Their phraseology is sometimes startlingly different - and sometimes this can be a real headache when it comes to taking the real exam.

Simulated exams can be invaluable as a tool for logging knowledge into your brain - so when it comes to taking the real thing, you don’t get uptight.

Coming across job security in this economic down-turn is problematic. Businesses frequently remove us from the workplace with very little notice - whenever it suits.

Whereas a marketplace with high growth, where staff are in constant demand (due to a big shortfall of trained workers), creates the conditions for lasting job security.

Investigating the IT sector, the 2006 e-Skills investigation brought to light a more than 26 percent deficit in trained staff. Put directly, we only have the national capacity to fill three out of every 4 jobs in the computer industry.

This one concept on its own shows why the United Kingdom needs a lot more people to enter the IT sector.

It’s unlikely if a better time or market conditions could exist for getting certified in this quickly expanding and developing business.

One of the most important things to insist on has to be 24×7 round-the-clock support from professional mentors and instructors. So many companies we come across only provide office hours (or extended office hours) support.

Never purchase certification programs which can only support students with a message system when it’s outside of usual working hours. Training organisations will always try to hide the importance of this issue. But, no matter how they put it - support is needed when it’s needed - not when it suits them.

The very best programs provide an internet-based 24 hours-a-day system combining multiple support operations throughout multiple time-zones. You will have an environment that seamlessly selects the best facility available no matter what time of day it is: Support when you need it.

Never settle for less than you need and deserve. Support round-the-clock is the only viable option when it comes to computer-based training. It’s possible you don’t intend to study late evenings; often though, we’re working when traditional support if offered.

The way a programme is physically sent to you is usually ignored by most students. How is the courseware broken down? And in what order and how fast does each element come?

Often, you’ll enrol on a course taking 1-3 years and receive a module at a time. It seems to make sense on one level, but consider these issues:

With thought, many trainees understand that the company’s ’standard’ path of training doesn’t suit. It’s often the case that it’s more expedient to use an alternative order of study. Perhaps you don’t make it at the pace they expect?

To be straight, the very best answer is to have a copy of their prescribed order of study, but make sure you have all of your learning modules right from the beginning. You then have everything should you not complete it as fast as they’d like.
