Using An Addon To Power Level In World Of Warcraft

by Max Q. Lautner

I get asked a lot why gamers should use a World of Warcraft addon, and I always have the same answer. It is going to save you time and you are going to level up much faster. Then they want to know if they should go the freebie version or get a premium. So many gamers argue that a premium addon is a waste of money.

I’d like to give you four reasons why the premium is not a waste of money. If you are a serious gamer and want to dominate WOW, take a look at the following.

You’ll Find No Glitches

Not to diss free downloads, but I would stay away from downloading and installing free addons. Usually non-gamers have programmed these and standard programing scripts and practices were not followed. This is why you will see so many bugs and glitches develop within the game and your PC. Also these addons are slowly updated for new patches and expansions when they are released by Blizzard. This is not limited to just the content patches but the hot fix patches as well. When these patches are released many addons simply cease to function or worse, you really never know how long it will be til you can use you addon again.

In Game Directions

What is great about the premium addons is they will always have an in game arrow that will show you the way on quests. These navigation arrows point you in the direction of what you need to do next. This saves so much time in trying to figure out where you need to go and how to get there.

Always Knowing What To Do Next

When you click that arrow you will be welcomed to an impressive in game guide. This guide will show you exactly what you need to do to complete your quest. It will show you how to transport there and what you need to do and get once there. It even helps with some of those more difficult tasks such as finding those hidden cave entrances. Trust me, I spent over 30 minutes one time looking for a cave entrance.

Completed Quests

The last thing I’d like to inform you about owning a premium addon is the fact that it keeps all of your completed quests in check. This way you will never find yourself trying to attempt a quest that you had already fulfilled.
