A large amount of North Americans love to pass the time by taking a day off and playing some toss games.
Therefore, it can be a better option than television watching or playing cards or chess. Of courst, this is not to criticize all board or card games as worthless, or saying that all TV watching is just a wast of time.
None of these things requires the activity that all of us need so much. Lack of activity and a diet rich in carbohydrates have made a large portion of North Americans overweight.
Most of these Americans will not change their lifestyle or join in any kind of exercise program. However, these individuals may be tempted to try toss games, which will provide them with at least some execise. It will also prevent the players from gorging on the junk food that they may often eat while watching TV. While toss games are not an alternative to a workout in the gym, they do provid us with an opportunity to give our limbs a bit of exercise. With an all-weath corn toss game, they will no longer have an excuse to stay hooked to the TV. If you have enough space in your home, this game can also be played indoors. Of course, when you play indoors, you will miss the opportunity to have a game in the midst of sun, flowers, and birds, or snow and drizzle. Outdoor toss games played outside have a certain attraction of their own.
Once the bags and boards are moisture-proof, your play will never be affected by weather. These corn-toss boards are usually made of plywood, and therefore, should not be exposed to moisture for long periods of time due to danger of swelling and falling apart. An all-weather corntoss game board is usually made of plastic, so there’s nothing to worry about. A good deal of corn hole bean bags are made from canvas and filled with corn–so they must be guarded from bad weather. Corn mildews VERY easily so it spoils quickly.
If the bag gets wet, take out the corns, drie them before refilling the bags, then stitch it up again. Some of the advantages of these corn bags: they are made of weatherproof cloth instead of duck canvas and have plastic pellets rather than feed corn in them. This means that the ‘corns’ in the bags will not mildew nor turn to dust and the bags themselves are good in any sort of weather.
If the bag becomes damp, one must remove and dry the corns before refilling and stitching it back up. The all-weather corn toss game bage made of weather-proof cloth filled with plastic palettes do not have the issue of mildew that faces bags made of duck canvas filled with feed corn.
Drying is not and issue so they can be gotten wet, The corn-bag toss is a game that can be enjoyed by all. Whether a young child or an older person, it does not matter. Anyone can play this game. This game, due to its simplicity, does not have an age limit. Because the rules are uncomplicated, actually easy to understand, anyone old enough to understand the concept of rules can play this game. You set your two corn hole boards apart from each other 33′, or 10m. Board come in two types: The measurementment approved according to the regulation board is 4′ x 2′ or 1.2m x 0.6m. This measurement is standard to the all-weather boards.
These tailgating boards are not ACA approved, but are manufactured smaller so as to fit in the trunk of a car. They are 3 ft by 2 ft or 0.9m by 0.6m. Players stand on opposite ends and toss corn bags into a hole in the board. The person who is next to throw his bag can stand where he so desires, but no further than directly behind and no further than in front of the opposition’s game board. Each player is given four corn hole bags to throw. He has only 20 seconds to throw a bag.
The moment he steps into the pitching area his time starts. Three points are earned when the bag falls into the hole, and one point is earned by it landing and staying on the board. Once any person or their team has met a goal of 21 points, the game is over. Incidentally, a corn toss game can be played one-on-one and in doubles. I repeat, when the bag falls into the hole, the team or person who tossed it earns three points. The way that a bag falls inside the hole does not matter. Whether the bag falls cleanly into the hole or slides into it, it is still worth the three points.
The beanbag can also be shoved in by one thrown by your opponents. It is highly recommended (for the fun factor) to get two sets of bags, each in its own distinct color to represent the two teams or individual. Why not get yourself a corn hole game so that your downtime can be MORE fun?
